Enter the decision, or start with the question that will become one. A record can stay open while details are still being worked out, holding the work in progress where it can be picked back up.

Lock the record once the decision is final. It can still be reopened, and every change is signed and dated, so a record that's been revised three times still shows you the full path it took to get there.

SIMPLE AND STRAIGHTFORWARD PRICING

Every firm gets the whole product. There is no plan to select and nothing is held back for a higher rate. Your seat count sets the price, and that's all. Founder firms pay $32 per seat in the Atelier band and $24 in the Studio band, with 1 TB of storage included, all locked permanently.

Reserving now means one seat paid today, and founder rates locked for every seat your firm adds later. The reservation is held until launch and is fully refundable at any point before then.

At launch it's applied to your first month, and billing begins only once the product is available and you've confirmed you want to continue. Your first real invoice reflects whatever your team size actually is, at the same locked founder rate.

A limited founder group of 25 firms locks these rates permanently. Standard rates apply once it closes.

What am I paying for right now?

Your firm's place in the founder's group, and the founder rate locked for every seat you add. Held until launch, refundable in full before then, and applied to your first month once the product is available.

When does it launch?

Klaybase is targeting a launch by the end of 2027. No date is guaranteed, and your reservation stays refundable in full until the product is available.

Is this a project management tool?

No. There are no tasks, assignees, or due dates. Klaybase records design decisions and the reasoning behind them while a project is in design.

Who on the team needs to use it?

Anyone in the office working on a project, including a sole practitioner recording alone.

Can consultants & clients use it?

At launch, no. External access is a committed part of the product and will always be free when it arrives.

Is there an app?

Klaybase runs in a web browser on any device.
